1800's All Bisque Miniature DollBrown Glass Eyes Painted Blue Legs JointedOriginal Clothing and Hat I recently acquired one of the largest collections of incredible antique dolls, doll clothing and accessories I have ever had the pleasure of owning. It belonged to a woman who owned a very famous antique store in Northern California. Each doll or doll accessory she acquired came directly from a family. She believed, just as I do that in this business as sellers, we are simply caretakers of the past. Our job is to find homes for these unique items we sell as each one has a story and a past. We are the sellers of stories and items that need to reside in the present. There are more than 190 dolls and literally hundreds of clothing, hats, shoes and other accessories. Together they were acquired by multiple generations of families who acquired these items from the 1700's through the early 1900's. There are antique heeled doll shoes made of paper and cloth, dolls from France, Germany and Italy make up the largest portion of the collection. I have attached a photo of the dolls from the night they arrived, I was so excited I unwrapped each one and placed them on my breakfast table to admire them as a group. So have fun and enjoy looking! I fell in love with this one first...she has a tag, "Margarite's First French Doll 188?" (hard to make out last number). She is really exceptional. She is wearing a batiste dress trimmed in handmade lace that has a long sweep train. Her bonnet is a straw hat with a folded or bent front and trimmed in lace and the tiniest silk bow. She has brown glass eyes and short red hair. Her legs are painted blue and she has heeled black shoes with one strap. Her left leg at the ankle was repaired long ago.Dress is very delicate and there are a few tiny stress holes in fabric. She has a script type font that says 'Germany' up the middle of her back.Arms and Legs are jointed. There is dust and dirt but I will leave for new owner to clean. She'd make a perfect antique dollhouse doll. 3.75" Tall Have any additional questions or comments, please contact me via email. VINTAGE OLD 18”BISQUE/CLOTH BABY DOLL PARTS OR REPAIR DOLL You are looking at an old 18 inch Baby doll. I’m not sure is he is made out of Bisque-Porcelain or Composition? I do not know who made him? No markings. He could be a German doll? He is from my mother’s estate sale and has been in storage for several years. His body is very firm and he is a heavy baby for his size. His cry box doesn’t work and has rusted through his cloths body and needs a patch sown over it. His head looks like bisque with a couple of paint smudges, plus someone has started to patch the back of his head and has not sanded it yet. My guess is the outside layer on the back of his head was starting to lift so they were patching it. I would just sand it and put a cute wig on him. His eyes have lost some of its white filler. His arms seem to be in good condition and just need cleaning. Both his legs are peeling. I can’t take his original leather shoes off because they are so old they will crumble. Under his right arm the body seam is opened about two inches and needs stitched. I think he is worth saving if someone wanted to fix him up. I think he’s cuter in person than he is in his pictures. He is a nice project doll. I have posted a lot of pictures as part of my description to help you decide whether to bid or not. Email questions. Payment is due in 2 days and I only ship to the U.S. I’m an honest seller. I want you to be happy with your purchase. In my description I try to tell you the good and the flaws in my item. I also do not try to make money on postage. Postage is hard to figure out sometimes, so if I over charge by 2 dollars or more, I always do a refund of the difference back to the buyer, but if the difference is 1 dollar or less , I dont refund because of the paypal fees. I appreciate it if you can give me a 5 star rating, If you can’t, I would like to know about it, so I can try to fix whatever it is that’s wrong. This is an estate sale find and as much as I love learning about and researching vintage treasures, I have to admit that the world of dolls is actually very complex and more than I had ever imagined. I came across and purchased a box of antique dolls and I have now spent a significant number of hours learning about them only to realize that I've only glimpsed the tip of the iceberg so to speak. I can't believe I'm going to do this but since I really can't accurately assess this doll's value I thought I'd put it on here with a good old fashioned 99 cent auction/no reserve and let the Ebay hive-mind determine her worth! Here are the things I discovered about her that seem important: She is actually in pretty good shape considering her age. I put a flashlight in her head to light it up and saw no cracks, chips or repairs. Her mohair wig could use some tidying but is also in good condition. Her fingers and toes are all present and accounted for and have the original dainty red lines painted on them. She does have a crack on the back of one of her composition arms, I took a close-up photo of the damage. Her joints all move freely but some poses don't hold so I'm guessing she needs to be restrung. She is marked on the back of her head: K * R Simon Halbig 117 with a 46 at the base of her neck. Her dress and undergarments are in pretty good shape, her socks and sweater are a tad shabby and moth-eaten and one of her shoes has a broken buckle. If you have any sort of question just send me a message and I'll try to respond right away. If for any reason I've missed something or misrepresented my item in any way, I'll be happy to work with you to make things right. I take my 100% seller rating very seriously. Also I did find a whole box of dolls and at least one other is marked Simon Halbig and I am considering doing this with the rest of them, so check my other items and see. Let's have some fun and happy bidding!

A cheeky little antique all bisque Googly eye doll by Ernst Heubach. He is marked 281 on his back and is jointed at shoulders and hips. He has moulded hair, painted eyes and you can just see the tip of his tongue between his lips. He is wearing his original outfit which is a bit stained but in very good condition. His outfit is not removeable. He is approx. 4.5 inches / 11.5 cm tall. The only damage I can see is a tiny chip on his right hand pinkie and some wear to his shoes. I have only given him a cursory wash as I did not want to damage him so he is a bit grubby. A sweet and unusual little doll. I am sorry but I cannot do ' Buy it Now'. If winning more than one item please wait for invoice from me so that postage can be combined. Thank you.

Welcome to Eaglecreek Vintage On auction is a 5" all bisque doll with finely painted facial features and human hair wig. She in on a stiff hip body with jointed arms and painted brown shoes and blue socks. She is dressed in an antique lace dress and the arms have been retied. There is a tiny hole at the top of the left arm, I do not know if this was done in manufacturer or just an odd place for damage. Otherwise the doll is in very nice condition and retains virtually all her original color. If you have any questions or would like additional pictures please let me know before close of auction. Beautiful Simon Halbig Character Baby Doll Antique circa 1908 character baby doll. Maker's mark on back of bisque head: K & R in a star for the German Kammer & Reinhardt company, and Simon & Halbig, #121. She has stationary blue glass eyes, open mouth with two front teeth, rosy dimpled cheeks and chin with a slight double 'baby' chin, and painted feathered eyebrow and painted upper and lower eyelashes. Her head swivels and her stringing is tight. Antique blonde mohair wig; pate looks to be newer and is glued on, whereas the wig is not glued to pate. Bent limb composition body is in very good shape but appears to have been over painted very carefully at some time with the red lines on her finger and toe nails still faintly visible. A few chips to toes and some light surface wear here and there. Her head is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. She does have a small paint scratch to the surface of one cheek. Doll measures 20 inches tall. She can sit, stand or pose. She is wearing an antique batiste baby doll dress and pink cotton bloomers. Such a sweet and endearing old doll baby. This was found in a trunk with other old bisque dolls here in southern Indiana. No Reserve. International Buyers - Global Shipping Program. Thank you.
