Antique miniature 1.5" bisque boy dolls in crocheted clothes and with chairs. One doll has a crocheted hat. Dolls may be Hertwig/Korn Germany. Can't see if there are any markings on the dolls because crocheted clothes have not been removed. Both dolls are in good condition but with normal wear and tear for items of their age. Face, legs, heads and clothes of both dolls show some dirt. Clothes may show some fading and one has thread tear at right arm joint. Some paint on shoes of one is missing and some paint on hair of both is missing. Assume to have jointed arms and legs but can’t confirm under clothes. Chairs which fit the dolls snugly are included but not sure if they originally came with the dolls or were purchased separately. The chairs with painted flowers on them show signs of dirt. Some of what appears to be paint on the chairs is chipping on the back of one of them. No international shipping. Only form of payment accepted is PayPal. I have one other doll like these that is listed. If you are the successful bidder for both auctions, I will combine shipping. Please look at all pictures as this is a used item. Note that items of this age may contain lead paint. Thanks for looking.

This little all original Kestner doll measures only 10½". She is in an excellent condition, but the stringing is loose on the legs and head. She has brown (working) sleeping eyes with painted lashes and light brown feathered eyebrows. The shoulders are peg-jointed with a separate ball joint. There are some discolorations over the joints on the upper arms (see the last pic.). The arms are bent, but do not have elbows and the wrists are solid with cupped hands. The legs have the usual joints with attached balls. This is a popular Kestner-type body for smaller dolls. Her mouth has a slightly pouty Kestner style expression. It has a darker red middle line with a distinct dip in the center, and two high peaks on the top lip. She also has a pronounced double chin and a little dimple. This doll wears her original blonde mohair wig over a plaster pate. Her beautiful dress, which is professionally sewn, consists of a lace over-dress of embroidered tulle and a burgundy woolen dress with a maroon satin sash. Her lace lined underwear, which are very well made, are also her original ones. Attached to the petticoat is a slip of paper on which it say in Swedish "Martha 24/12 1885 belongs to Edla Rydberg". All in excellent condition except for the shoes which have some damages. The bisque is very smooth and perfect except for a little dot just above her right eyebrow. She is only marked with the size number 5 on the back of the head. I will send the doll as registered mail, trackable and insured. Signature is required at delivery. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges.

This auction is for a beautiful antique bisque head doll in ALL original clothes!! The doll is about 13" tall and has sleep eyes and a open mouth with upper teeth. The back of the head is incised 444 0 . The mohair wig is original and frail but full. The body has been restrung by a doll doctor so she will pose nicely in your cabinet. The clothing is super but dress is a little age dingy and is missing? threads for hooks on the back. The clothes consist of her original shoes, socks, one piece undies, slip, dress, and a fabulous woven straw hat. The doll certainly has a French flare but I believe she is German. The body is ball jointed but has straight wrists. A wonderful doll to add to your collection. Please email with any questions or if you need other photos. Thanks!
